Introduction
This study used mainly quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate an empirically based measure of integrative learning in the program. It revealed the continuous process of integrative learning from disciplinary knowledge to apply to the real world and established an initial framework for assessing students learning outcomes of integration. Finally, the research provided implications to utilize the survey instrument and extend to a wider range of students and academic programs.
The current assessment products for general education are unable to meet the goal of the stakeholders due to the new format of the program, the goal of the program and the experience the program provides to students.
